Point Of Origin opened in October of 1993 as the first eclectic full service design showroom in the northern suburbs of Chicago created by Julie Hermanson and David Homer. The business has grown into three adjacent locations to offer a formal showroom, a more casual lifestyle gallery, and a complete interior design studio.

Our resources are varied and extensive from independent artists and artisans, imports, small domestic factories and larger well known companies that can supply us with an assortment of product that can satisfy the imagination of our designers and clientele.
